After releasing multiple singles already this year, punk rock icons Rise Against are back with an announcement of their brand new album ‘Ricochet’ out on August 15th via Loma Vista Recordings – the record was produced by Catherine Marks and mixed by Alan Moulder.
Tim McIlrath teased of the record on the most recent Kerrang! In Conversation podcast: “I think people are going to hear a 2025 version of Rise Against – there’s gonna be some traditional stuff like everyone’s heard ‘Nod’, but I think you’ll hear some stuff like, ‘This wasn’t something I expected.’ I’m excited.”
The band has also shared a new single titled ‘I Want It All’ where they stated: “The algorithm wants our attention so it is designed to make us laugh or cry, but mostly, it wants us to be angry, because that is how it spreads the furthest. Like a pile of marbles, hit hard. Who benefits from our anger? Questions we don’t ask, as we fire away.”
