Pennywise release cover of ‘Ace Of Spades’ from upcoming compilation ‘Killed By Deaf – A Punk Tribute To Motörhead’

Fourteen of the finest punk bands on the planet covering their favorite Motörhead songs, including Rancid, The Bronx, GBH, Fear, and more, will be featured on the upcoming Motörhead compilation ‘Killed By Deaf – A Punk Tribute To Motörhead,’ set to release on October 31st via BMG.

One of those bands, skate punk legends Pennywise have already released their own interpretation of a timeless classic ‘Ace Of Spades’ – guitarist Fletcher Dragge shared: “Getting into punk rock around 1980, basically the only metal band that was allowed to be part of the punk rock scene was Motörhead, as far as I was concerned. If you saw somebody show up in a jean vest with the Motörhead patch on the back it was like, “There’s a metaller, but he can hang with us!”. This anthem was the track where you heard that and went, “That’s not metal, that’s punk rock!”
