Yungblud announces part one of his new double-album ‘Idols’

Yungblud has announced his fourth studio album, ‘Idols’ – part one of the double album includes 12 tracks and is set for a release on June 20th via Locomotion/Capitol Records.

‘Idols’ includes previously released singles ‘Hello Heaven Hello’, ‘Lovesick Lullaby’ as well as ‘Zombie’, a ballad which arrives with a music video directed by Charlie Sarsfield, produced by Untold Studios, and starring Academy Award-nominated actress Florence Pugh.

Brought to life with the help of producer Matt Schwartz, composer Bob Bradley and guitarist Adam Warrington, Dom explains that, “I wanted to make a project that didn’t focus on singles or anything else except feeling and world-building… A project with no limitations.”

Of its title of the record, Dominic shares: “We turn to others for an identity before turning to ourselves. Self-belief, self-reclamation, self-evolution and change. As we grow up, we lose our belief in magic and mystery. We begin to rationalise everything; our cage walls build up. We compare ourselves to 15 different people before we’ve even had our breakfast.”
