Armor For Sleep and Audiotree Live release new live EP

Seminal New Jersey-bred post-hardcore band Armor For Sleep and Audiotree Live are excited to announce the band’s brand new, four-song live EP. Produced by Austin Isaac Peters, Chris Watkins and mixed/mastered by Wesley Reno, Armor For Sleep bring two decades of catalog to the live session, from the early-2000s emo of ‘What To Do When You Are Dead’ to the dream-pop textures of their critically acclaimed new album, ‘There Is No Memory’. Pre-order the limited edition vinyl via the Equal Vision Records shop HERE.

Frontman Ben Jorgensen had the following to share about ‘Car Underwater’: “It’s been amazing to watch ‘Car Underwater’ become a song that fans have made their own over the years. Seeing people continue to connect with it after all this time has given it new meaning for us too. Recording it for Audiotree felt like honoring that shared history while capturing where we are today.”

Recorded with Sam Guaiana (Silverstein, The Devil Wears Prada, Between You and Me), Armor for Sleep’s new album, ‘There Is No Memory’, is a collection of songs that force the listener to question the very nature of their existence, of what makes us the people we are. While 2022’s ‘The Rain Museum’ was a record written in the throes of the dissolution of frontman Ben Jorgensen’s eight-year marriage and his subsequent divorce, its setting was more fictional and metaphorical. By comparison, ‘There Is No Memory’ is much more literal, much more grounded in the real world, and much closer to the bone.
