They’re back! Today, Hopeless Records duo Senses unveiled their first new single in over a year. ‘Patterns’ arrived October 27th, and is a punchy alt pop track for the ages. True to form – Senses have cooked up an earworm that is undeniably catchy and a shimmering display of the band’s growth as writers and performers. The band is currently debuting the song live on the road in the UK opening up for NOAHFINNCE.
Senses shares of the track: “‘Patterns’ is very much a song of self-awareness and discovery. It explores the process of understanding how your brain works – and knowing that it can often feel all over the place and hard to control. This feeling is really emphasized by the dramatic sonic changes throughout, taking you through the experience of feeling stuck in these pre-existing patterns, and how it feels to try to break free of them. We’ve struggled and felt overwhelmed with breaking this cycle many times in our own lives, and it’s definitely not easy to overcome. This song is that real-time awareness of the inner workings of your brain, and the process of overcoming these obstacles.”
