Fist pumping ‘Runaway’ was the first single under the A New Violet moniker, with subsequent EP, ‘The Heat is Getting Hotter’ coming as a statement-making collection in late 2023, showing a cohesive maturity and conviction in their delivery, despite their newcomer status. The record was rambunctious iteration of the genre, dressed in both old and new school influence and a wave of blossoming pop sensibility.
