UK band Acres will release the continuation of ‘The Host’ on September 26th via Solid State Records. What, exactly, is the continuation of the band’s critically acclaimed album, which arrived earlier this year? We’re glad you asked. It’s even more Acres music, which is always a good thing. The expanded edition is a continuation and completion of the original, adding three new tracks.
Today, the band shares the video for one of those new songs — ‘Push Me Away’ (featuring Landon Tewers)’. “‘Push Me Away’ is almost like a confession of self-doubt, a reflection on feeling like you’re the weight holding someone back, and believing they’d be better off without you,” the band says. “When we wrote this in the studio, we instantly knew this was the song we wanted to have a feature on and we honestly couldn’t think of anyone better than Landon. We’re so grateful he wanted to be part of this!”
