Chicago-based Action/Adventure have released a cover of The Anxiety‘s 2021 hit ‘Meet Me At Our Spot,’ the song also features label mate Alex Melton. The single is out now via Pure Noise Records.
Speaking about the cover Blake Evaristo said: “When this song came out last year we very quickly became obsessed with it and listened to it all the time while on tour. We’d joked around about covering it and ended messing around with the progression at practice one day it was cool so we went with it and it came out super fun.”
Alex Melton also spoke about working with Action/Adventure and said: “I’ve been a fan of Action/Adventure for a while now, I love their energy and the ‘Pulling Focus’ EP absolutely bangs. I was ecstatic to be able to sing with them on this cover. We split up the parts between the three of us and it’s such a great concept jumping back and forth between the vocalists. I love what they’re doing and I’m such a fan, and I think it’s so cool that I got to be a part of this project. Thanks boys!”
