AJ Tracey unveils long-awaited new single ‘Ibiza’ featuring Blade Brown

AJ Tracey returns with ‘Ibiza, a lyrically deft new single featuring UK rap heavyweight Blade Brown. After weeks of teasing the track across socials, AJ has whipped fans into a frenzy, with anticipation steadily building for his first release of the year. Landing alongside a Kelvin-Jones directed visual, the single is an imminent UK Rap Anthem.

Built for late night drives, and dancefloors alike, ‘Ibiza’ captures AJ in his trademark witty wordplay, blending street realism with global luxury. The single is produced by Carns Hill, the influential Brixton-born producer whose fingerprints are all over modern UK rap. A trusted architect of the sound, Carns Hill has produced for several award-winning acts including Skepta, Krept and Konan, Section Boyz, Blade Brown, and 67.

Over the instantly addictive beat, AJ Tracey soundtracks a world of shisha smoke, designer wardrobes, and high-stakes motion before landing via private jet in Ibiza. ‘Ibiza’ is a dose of true braggadocious confidence, unapologetically opulent, but rooted in AJ’s instantly recognizable flow.

AJ Tracey says: “An overdue link up with one of the UK’s greatest rappers and one of the hall of fame producers.”

Blade Brown’s appearance brings heavyweight gravitas, matching AJ bar for bar with a cold, measured presence. Together, the pair embody a generation of UK rap artists who have graduated from local blocks to international playgrounds all whilst retaining their unique and recognizable sonic. From Harrods sprees to Mykonos nights, ‘Ibiza’ plays like a postcard from these two UK Rap heavy weights.

‘Ibiza’ follows the release of AJ Tracey’s third studio album, ‘Don’t Die Before You’re Dead’, a critically praised coming-of-age project that explored grief, faith, family, and success through a distinctly British lens. The album featured the standout hit ‘Crush’ with Jorja Smith, one of the biggest selling UK Rap singles of last year, which marked the duo’s first collaboration since the triple-platinum success of ‘Ladbroke Grove’ and reaffirming AJ’s ability to deliver both cultural moments and chart impact.

While third album ‘Don’t Die Before You’re Dead’ showcased AJ at his most vulnerable and reflective, ‘Ibiza’ sees him shifting gears without losing momentum; a return to his UK Rap roots that proves his versatility and range as a musician.
