Atmosphere are heading back across the Europe. The Minneapolis duo of Atmosphere has announced their ‘Phere & Loathing: The Unamerican tour 2026’, marking their first European and UK run since 2023. It is a return that feels earned. Thirty years deep into their career, Slug and Ant are still building, still refining, still speaking directly to the people who have followed them through every phase.
This run brings them together with Sage Francis and ZooDeVille, forming a lineup rooted in independent hip hop tradition. It is a rare pairing. Sage Francis, a defining voice of the early 2000s underground, joins Atmosphere in Europe for the first time, while ZooDeVille adds a newer creative edge shaped by both music and visual storytelling.
Slug put it simply. He is excited to rap for you and your friends. That tone says a lot about why Atmosphere have lasted this long. There is no distance between artist and audience. The connection is the point.
The tour arrives alongside their latest album Jestures, released in September 2025. It continues their long run of deeply personal and observational writing, backed by Ant’s layered production that pulls from soul, funk, rock, and classic hip hop textures. Tracks like ‘Zorro’, ‘Furthermore’, and ‘Grateful’ show that they are still experimenting, still pushing their narrative style forward without losing the foundation that built their audience in the first place.
This European run moves through both familiar territory and new ground. London, Paris, Berlin, and Amsterdam are on the route, alongside stops in Copenhagen, Warsaw, and Sofia. There are also first time performances in Athens and Zagreb, signaling that even after three decades, Atmosphere are still expanding their reach – check out the dates below.
