Catbite release new single ‘Die In Denver,’ announce ‘Doom Garden’ EP and upcoming tour dates

Philadelphia’s Catbite have released their first music in nearly three years, the infectious new single and lead track, ‘Die In Denver’, from their forthcoming release ‘Doom Garden’, out May 9th via Bad Time Records. To accompany the announcement, the band teamed with director Jak Kerley to make a somewhat NSFW music video, a campy homage to B-movie horror and the likes of Scooby Doo. While playful and catchy on the surface, both the song and forthcoming release carry deeper meanings, as vocalist Brit Luna explains:

“The songs on ‘Doom Garden’ are different from anything we’ve written before. I took a lot of time to self-reflect on my own human experience and how it has been affected by everything around me and within me. It’s really difficult to look inward and feel like you’re a terrible person. These songs helped me begin to heal parts of myself that I had long forgotten or pushed away. Being human is hard, but it’s not all bad.”

Catbite will also be hitting the road throughout 2025, both domestically and internationally, including a number of festival appearances as well as dates alongside Yellowcard, Hot Water Music, Less Than Jake and more. Their live show is one not to be missed!
