Canadian hardcore punk icons Comeback Kid have announced a coast-to-coast Canadian tour in celebration of the 20th anniversary of their seminal album, ‘Wake The Dead’. The highly anticipated run kicks off September 6th in Toronto and wraps up September 22nd in Vancouver, hitting 13 cities across the country. A full list of dates can be found below.

The artist presale begins Thursday, May 1st from 10 am to 10 pm local time, with fans able to access tickets using the password: WTD2025. Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, May 2nd at 10 am local time and can be purchased here.

“This year we have been taking our Wake The Dead 20th Anniversary Tour around the world. As promised, we will bring the tour coast to coast across Canada, bringing some friends along the way,” shares vocalist Andrew Neufeld.“We’ll have Punitive Damage (VAN) and Prowl (MTL) throughout the tour, with Incendiary (NYC) and The Flatliners (TO) joining us on select shows!” Neufeld continues: “The US and Europe/UK legs of this tour have been insane so far and it’s been such a blast revisiting a lot of these songs from the record that really jump started the career and trajectory for Comeback Kid. The response has been incredible and we can’t wait to bring it home.”

For the Canadian leg, Comeback Kid will perform ‘Wake The Dead’ in its entirety, along with fan favourites spanning their acclaimed catalogue. Expect hard-hitting performances of the anthemic title track, ‘Wake The Dead’, the relentless ‘False Idols Fall’and straight-up, high-octane banger ‘Talk is Cheap’

Originally released on February 22nd, 2005, ‘Wake The Dead’ quickly became a defining moment in the band’s career and helped shape the sound of an entire era. Produced and recorded by Bill Stevenson (Descendents / ALL), the album sold over 100,000 units, landed in the Top 20 on the Billboard’sHeatseekers chart, and has left an indelible mark, influencing countless bands and cementing its place as a pivotal work in the evolution of hardcore punk.

To mark the anniversary, Comeback Kid released a re-recording of the classic title track ‘Wake The Dead’ (stream | watch) and an unreleased 2005 b-side via New Damage Records on February 6th. A special 7″ vinyl featuring both tracks was pressed and has since sold out, but fans attending the Canadian dates will have the chance to grab an exclusive tour variant.

Additionally, the original ‘Wake The Dead’ album was reissued earlier this year and sold out online. A special Canadian tour edition, featuring a striking red foil jacket and custom o-card, will be available exclusively at the shows, making this run of dates extra special for longtime fans.
Comeback Kid continue to be a driving force in the global hardcore scene, and this anniversary tour is both a celebration of their legacy and a testament to their enduring impact.
