Dave Hause honors a departed friend with ‘Damn Personal’

Blood Harmony Records, Soundly Music, and acclaimed Philadelphia-bred singer-songwriter Dave Hause are excited to present ‘Damn Personal,’ the second track to be lifted from the Friday, April 28th release of ‘Drive It Like It’s Stolen,’ Hause‘s sixth full-length solo album.

Following the uplifting and breezy ‘Hazard Lights,’ ‘Damn Personal’ is a windows-down, heartland rock anthem honoring the lasting spirit of a departed friend. “If you’re lucky, you live long enough to start losing people you love,” Hause says of ‘Damn Personal.’ “Sometimes the only way through all of that is to wail a little bit together.”

Additionally, Hause recently announced the inaugural Sing Us Home Festival, taking place in his hometown of Philadelphia, on Friday, May 5th, and Saturday, May 6th. Coinciding with the release of ‘Drive It Like It’s Stolen,’ Sing Us Home Festival will feature a unique show from Hause, Kathleen Edwards, and Craig Finn (The Hold Steady), along with performances by Hause and his band, The Mermaid, alt-country rockers Drive-By Truckers, Tim Hause, Lydia Loveless, Crossed Keys, The Tisburys, Ocean Avenue Stompers, and Philadelphia ska-favorites Catbite.
