Fresh from her newest album ‘Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party,’ Paramore’s frontwoman Hayley Williams is back yet again with a brand new single titled ‘What Is The Reason For It?’ teaming up with none other than Talking Heads’ frontman David Byrne. The song is taken from David’s solo album ‘Who Is The Sky?’ set for release on September 5th via Matador.
Previously, Paramore covered Talking Heads’ ‘Burning Down The House’ for A24 tribute album ‘Stop Making Sense’, and Byrne later returned the favour by doing ‘After Laughter’ lead single ‘Hard Times’ for Record Store Day.
David said of this upcoming record: “Every new set of songs, every song even, is a new adventure. There’s always a bit of, ‘How do I work this?’ I’ve found that not every collaboration works, but often when they do, it’s because I’m able to clearly impart what it is I’m trying to do. They hopefully get that, and as a result, we’re now joined together heading to the same unknown place.”
