My Chemical Romance frontman Gerard Way has teamed up with members of The Interrupters and Michael Schulz for a new musical project called The Mock-Ups.
After previously teasing their first single on Instagram, Gauzy Records has finally released ‘I Wanna Know Your Name’ – the track features Gerard on vocals and bass, Aimee Interrupter on backing vocals, Kevin Bivona on keys and production, Jesse Bivona on drums and Michael Schulz on guitar. Engineering on the single was done by Doug McKean, a longtime collaborator of My Chemical Romance who passed away in 2022.
