High Tea celebrate their fifth anniversary

The events which High Tea have launched throughout Holland’s biggest cities, as well as further abroad in places like London, have solidified the imprint as one of the countries defining faces within the liquid drum & bass scene. Through a wealth of talent, which stretches from their label heads T & Sugah into places like North America, they’ve spent the past five years building an enviable roster. One which provides the basis to their celebratory compilation album ‘5 Year AnniversaTEA,’ dropping in April.

With T & Sugah making a collaborative appearance alongside Quuone on ‘Leaving,’ followed by names such as Phonetic, Monstercat stalwart Protostar, VovKING, Skyfade, Rex Hooligan, Phloem, Houndeye, Mylen, Crash Coment, and Richter, there’s a range of tastes catered to throughout the album’s tracklist. From dancefloor drum & bass to more minimal sounds, right through to the liquid subgenre which has made High Tea such a formidable force in Europe, the album takes you through the soundtrack to one of their infamous club nights.

Whether it’s renowned artists who’ve already made themselves known as part of the brand, or those who are just breaking through on the platform, High Tea are still heading towards their biggest years yet. This album is yet another monumental step for the label and it shows how they’ve been able to inject the energy of their parties into the music they unleash into the world. Still in its infancy, it’s made huge ground and continues to do so with this commemorative release.
