Hybrid Minds and Birdy share new collaboration single ‘State Lines’

Premiered as Hottest Record on Clara Amfo’s Future Sounds show on BBC Radio 1, drum & bass titans Hybrid Minds tease forthcoming ‘Tides: Part 1′ EP with indie legend Birdy on ethereal fuelled single ‘State Lines’ via their Hybrid Music label.

Fresh off BBC Radio 1 backed single ‘Better Now’ feat. Lily Denning, Hybrid Minds anticipate their live debut of ‘State Lines’ at Reading Festival alongside Birdy. Following packed-out live performances at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, Glastonbury, Hideout, and El Dorado the duo now prepare for their huge headline Wembley Arena TIDES show in October that sold out in 48 hours, continuing to blow expectations out of the water with boundary-breaking slices of heaven.

Matt Lowe of Hybrid Minds describes the creative process of working with the singer, “We’ve been huge fans of Birdy since we can remember and to finally be able to get into the studio with her was nothing short of amazing, we gel really well creatively and we are hyped people can finally hear the results!”

Inspired by a fierce love for nature imagery seen in previous albums ‘Elements’ and ‘Mountains,’ Hybrid Minds now anticipate their upcoming EP ‘Tides: Part 1.’ From the EP, ‘State Lines’ features Birdy’s achingly beautiful vocals, stirring and orchestral melodies, and hauntingly elegant drum & bass drops. Taunting the lush, atmospheric world of ‘Tides: Part 1,’ Hybrid Minds entice listeners with what’s to come from their upcoming EP and biggest live show yet.
