Iggy Pop announces new album, shares title track ‘Free’

Iggy Pop has announced a new album called ‘Free,’ scheduled for release on September 6th via Loma Vista / Caroline International. The album will be a follow-up to his most recent project the 2016′ album ‘Post Pop Depression’ recorded with Josh Homme and Dean Fertita of Queens Of The Stone Age and Arctic Monkeys drummer Matt Helders.

“This is an album in which other artists speak for me, but I lend my voice,” said Iggy about the album, which will also feature Noveller and jazz trumpeter, Leron Thomas. In addition, Iggy offered the first taste of the new album with the title track, which can be heard below.
