Ben Nichols from the punk rock stalwarts Lucero has teamed up with Vet Forward for the release of a live acoustic version of ‘To My Dearest Wife’ from the band’s 2018 album ‘Among The Ghosts.’ Vet Forward, an organization designed to help raise money for larger veteran charities and programs, chooses one artist a month to perform a song and highlight a charity of their choice. Nichols will be raising awareness for Disabled American Veterans with a special performance.
“Lucero is lucky to have a lot of veterans and active military folks as fans,” says Nichols. “I’ve met a lot of them at shows and it means a lot to me hearing what they think of our songs. I don’t do enough sometimes to bring attention to causes that need more support, but when this opportunity came up I felt it was the least I could do. Thank you all.”
