Double Helix Records is proud to announce the release of the limited edition 7” vinyl split from Las Vegas punk trio Mercy Music and international punk collective Danger Days, available this Friday, July 11th. This transcontinental collaboration pairs two high-intensity tracks on a single slab of wax—pressed in limited quantities and available now for pre-order.
The digital version of the split is already streaming everywhere as of June 27th. But for vinyl lovers and collectors, this Friday marks your chance to own a piece of DIY punk history.
The Split 7″ will also be available around the world via Double Helix’s distribution partners: Disconnect Disconnect (UK), Pee Records (AUS/NZ/JPN), and TMom Merch (EU). Mercy Music have also released an official video for ‘Big F**king Mess’ – check it out below.
Fresh off their Bill Stevenson–produced LP ‘What You Stand To Lose’, Mercy Music returns with an emotionally charged anthem that lives up to its title. ‘Big F**king Mess’ channels raw honesty, melodic grit, and an explosive sense of release. Singer/guitarist Brendan Scholz, bassist Jarred Cooper, and drummer Ryan Seaman keep things sharp and anthemic, delivering another dose of their signature heart-and-hook-laden punk rock.
With members spanning Sweden, New Zealand, and the UK—including musicians from Millencolin, The Rabble, and Movin In Stereo—Danger Days offer up a blistering punk rock earworm that delivers tight execution with global punch. ‘Wasted Time’ is lean, hooky, and urgent, a perfect flip side to Mercy Music’s controlled chaos.
