Mercy Music and Danger Days release two digital split singles ‘Big F*cking Mess’ and ‘Wasted Time’

Double Helix Records proudly presents a new transcontinental punk split from Las Vegas trio Mercy Music and international punk collective Danger Days — out digitally today (June 27th), with vinyl to follow July 11th, 2025.

This split 7” is a burst of honesty, urgency, and melody—capturing two distinct punk voices united by the same DIY ethos. Opening the EP is Mercy Music’s ‘Big Fucking Mess’—an emotionally raw, melodically sharp anthem that hits with everything the band’s known for: heart, hooks, and high-voltage energy. Brendan Scholz, alongside bassist Jarred Cooper and drummer Ryan Seaman, crafts a track that’s as cathartic as it is catchy. Coming off their Bill Stevenson–produced LP ‘What You Stand To Lose’, the Vegas trio shows no signs of slowing down.

On the flip side, Danger Days deliver ‘Wasted Time’ —a lean, hook-driven punk track with an unmistakable sense of urgency. Featuring members of Millencolin, The Rabble, Movin In Stereo, and Flirting With Disaster, this international group spans Sweden, the UK, and New Zealand. Their chemistry and raw execution are instant and undeniable.
