MxPx frontman Mike Herrera has shared an acoustic version of legendary Goldfinger track ‘Superman.’ The song is not only known as the band’s biggest hit, but also to many fans of the legendary video game Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater. Herrera recorded the cover in self-isolation, in his home studio in Waco, Texas. In recent years Herrera also plays bass in the new incarnation of Goldfinger.
About the cover, Herrera shared: “So here I am… getting to play a song that means the world to not only myself but to so many Goldfinger and Tony Hawk Pro Skater fans out there. I wanted to do this justice and put my own experience into this new version of an incredible song. I really hope this helps anyone listening through their own personal struggles and the collective insanity we are all up against right now. Enjoy.”
