Murdock unleashes earworm single ’Living In The Moment’

Teasing his upcoming album ’X-Ray,’ Murdock teams up with Émilie Rachel for infectious D&B single ’Living In The Moment’ via Rampage Recordings. First developing a passion for music digging through funk and soul catalogues as a teenager, his introduction to bass music emerged while nurturing a budding love for hip hop with samples of early Public Enemy, De La Soul, and NWA.

While purposefully mixing hip hop records on 90s turntables off-beat so the drums clashed, he stumbled upon the fact that the UK had a name for the curiously chaotic style: jungle music. Teaming up with Émilie who reflects on the modern pressures of modern life with her distinctly enchanting vocals, Murdock keeps the backing track smooth, subtle, and dynamic on his latest single.

Treating a DJ set like a work of art, Murdock’s own performances traverse the entire spectrum of d’n’b featuring neuro, liquid, jump up, and more accompanied by signature triple drops – his latest single heralds an exciting new era ahead of his upcoming album, which will reflect his mastery of all styles of the drum & bass genre.
