Raised in Gorton, South Manchester, the 21-year-old artist was born into music. The son of a reggae and bashment vocalist father and a producer mother, his early influences ranged from Vybz Kartel and Bob Marley to Lauryn Hill and SWV, shaping the foundation of his genre-blending sound. Over the years, Nemzzz has evolved from uploading tracks on SoundCloud at 13 to becoming one of the UK’s most streamed rappers, sitting behind only Central Cee and Dave in total streams. His breakout tracks ‘Elevate’, ‘2MS’, and ‘PTSD’ each surpassed 100 million streams, while his ‘Rent’s Due’ mixtape earned him a UK Top 10 chart position.
