Wrapping up an electrifying festival season with her magnetic West Stage headline slot at All Points East last Friday and surprise guest appearance for Jorja Smith’s closing set that night, today the darling of jungle Nia Archives announces the 19-date emotional world tour of her critically acclaimed, Mercury Prize shortlisted album ‘Emotional Junglist’. Kicking off in September with two dates in Japan, November and December will see her take her high energy, immersive and conceptual new emotional live show across North America, Europe and London where she’ll play Alexandra Palace on the 26th November with Cannelle, New York and Trickpony on the bill. January will see her return down under for two shows in Melbourne and Sydney. Pre-sale tickets available Tuesday 25th @ 10:00am BST, with general sale live Thursday 27th @ 10:00am. See full dates below.
Earlier this year, Nia took her debut live show on a run of exclusive, sold-out intimate show dates in Leeds, London and NYC. This Summer, crowds at Forbidden Fruit Festival in Dublin, Parklife in Manchester, Sonar Barcelona and Boardmasters in Cornwall caught a glimpse of the new set up. These shows received a raucous reception from fans new and old, as the ‘Emotional Junglist‘ new era continues to unfold.
Released on the 17th July via Island Records, ‘Emotional Junglist’ marked her biggest sonic leap to date. Shortlisted for the 2026 Mercury Prize, the album earned her her first #1 on the Official Dance Chart and has received huge critical acclaim with four and five stars from everyone from The Observer to The Guardian, The Times, Pitchfork, NME, The Fader, Dazed, Rolling Stone UK and more. Written throughout 2025 with Ethan P. Flynn (FKA Twigs, David Byrne), Julia Michaels (Lady Gaga, Sabrina Carpenter) and James Ford (Arctic Monkeys) – the album is a record of dualities, and heartbreak scorches throughout. Alongside features from Sampha on ‘Tender’ and Jorja Smith on ‘Get Me Down’, singles ‘Vertical’, ‘Danger’, ‘Boys In Blue’ and ‘There Goes Ma Head’ saw her perfect her alt-jungle sound, and hone into something utterly original, exciting and unequivocally Nia Archives.
