California-based and New England-bred Skinhead returns with a two-track EP titled ‘The Plan Pt. 1’. The release follows 2025’s ‘It’s a Beautiful Day’, ‘What a Beautiful Day’ LP and its accompanying book Records on an Island. The book is the debut short story by Joshua Long, the voice and songwriter behind Skinhead. With the same energy and honesty that defines his music, Long explores the lives of those on the fringes of society, painting a vivid picture of a city filled with both brutality and unexpected tenderness.
Of ‘The Plan Pt. 1’, Long comments: “From the world of ‘Records on an Island’ comes ‘The Plan.’ Chase and Denis are driven deeper into the desperation of city life, where each choice reveals how far they are willing to go to survive.”
