The Punk Rock Museum announces tourguides and events for February

The Punk Rock Museum is the world’s most comprehensive attraction dedicated to the history of the music, culture, and absurdity of punk rock. Located in Las Vegas, it houses artifacts and memorabilia from across the world’s punk scene—such as handwritten lyrics, instruments, clothing, photos, flyers, and artwork.

Encompassing 12,000 square feet at 1422 Western Ave, between the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown, the museum celebrates the genre’s substantial cultural impact over the last half-century. This year’s February tour guides are David J (Bauhaus / Love and Rockets), Tony Reflex (Adolescents), Chris DeMakes (Less Than Jake), Dez Cadena (Black Flag / Misfits), Ara Babajian (Slackers / Leftöver Crack) and Frank Zummo (Sum 41).

February 27th – March 1st:

Frank Zummo

Renowned drummer and author Frank Zummo is set to host a three-day series of exclusive book-tour events at The Punk Rock Museum on February 27th, February 28th, and March 1st. Fans will have the opportunity to experience intimate, behind-the-scenes access to punk-rock history while celebrating the release of Zummo’s new book, ‘Unbreakable Rhythm’.

Throughout the three-day takeover, Zummo will lead two guided tours daily, scheduled for 12:30 PM and 4:00 PM, offering attendees a personal look into the museum’s legendary collection through the eyes of one of punk’s most dynamic and influential drummers.

Special Bonus Events – Saturday, February 28th

Saturday will feature two exclusive bonus experiences for ticket holders:

Storyteller Hang – Evening at the Museum Bar:
A casual, interactive storytelling session where Zummo shares untold stories, inspiration behind  ‘Unbreakable Rhythm’, and memories from his career. This event is open to anyone holding a ticket for any of his tours during the three-day run.

Special Performance with School of Rock:
Immediately following the 12:30 PM tour, Zummo will join young musicians from School of Rock for a high-energy performance inside the museum’s iconic Pennywise Garage.

Artifact of the month: Steven Leckie’s (Viletones) gold jacket.

Steven Leckie’s gold jacket

The February Artifact Of The Month is Steven Leckie’s gold jacket on loan from KC Carlisle. Steven Leckie (September 19, 1957 – June 12, 2025) was the Viletones lead singer from Toronto, Canada.

Description from KC: “Before Steven died, he gifted me his vintage gold jacket, a true passing of the torch. Steven wore it on stage, then lent it to Stiv Bators, who also performed in it (during Lords of the New Church). Stiv returned it, and Stevenlater lent it to Johnny Thunders, who wore it on a British tour. The jacket still carries a worn mark on one shoulder from Johnny’s guitar strap.”
