A couple of weeks on from his performance of 1972’s classic ‘Changes’ at Ozzy and Black Sabbath’s ‘Back To The Beginning’ farewell show, Yungblud has officially released the cover for charity. Featuring a backing band of Sleep Token’s II, Nuno Bettencourt, Frank Bello and Adam Wakeman, the song was aired at Villa Park on July 5th in front of 40,000 metalheads as well as everyone else watching via livestream – and of course The Prince Of Darkness himself, Ozzy Osbourne, who says of Dominic Harrison’s efforts: “He did an amazing job. I couldn’t have done it better myself.”
Dominic shares: “This was hands-down the biggest moment of my entire life. I got to stand onstage and honor one of my heroes, and the fact that it has touched so many is truly overwhelming. The best part about this release is that we can take such a monumental moment, immortalize it on tape, release it and donate all the money to such important causes in Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorns Children’s Hospice. This is what rock’n’roll is about. Stream it, buy it, add it to your playlist – let’s raise some fucking money.”
