Zulu cover Slipknot’s ‘Wait And Bleed’ for Frequency x Spotify Singles collaboration

In honor of Black Music Month, Los Angeles band Zulu have recorded two new tracks as part of the Frequency x Spotify singles collaboration.

The band, who released the critically acclaimed record A New Tomorrow’ on Flatspot Records this past March, reworked the originally instrumental album track ‘Shine Eternally’ and also contributed a cover of Slipknot’s ‘Wait And Bleed’. For ‘Shine Eternally’ the band gives the song an even funkier jazz vibe with a beautiful, mellow vocal contribution from fellow genre-bending artist King Isis. On ‘Wait And Bleed’ the band exemplify their own heavy take on the classic track and you can tell they had a fun time recording it. Both songs are available to stream now on Spotify.

Zulu will head out on a European and UK tour this week, including appearances at Outbreak Fest, 2000 Trees, and Jera On Air
