Arrows in Action release debut album ‘Built To Last’

Pop-rock/alt-rock band from Nashville, Arrows in Action, have released their highly anticipated debut album ‘Built To Last.’ The record features the previously released tracks – ‘Checking In,’ ‘Head In The Clouds,’ ‘The Credits (feat. Loveless & Magnolia Park),’ ‘High,’ ‘Over It’ and ‘Put You Through Me.’

Produced and mixed by Dan Swank, ‘Built to Last’ finds the fast-tracked Nashville trio at their most poignant and personal. The record chronicles a coming-of-age story, bringing listeners on a rollercoaster of emotions and conflicts that occur throughout the process of finding your place in the world. Ruminating on the distance and loss that’s only amplified by 20-something malaise: falling out – and out of touch – with loved ones.

Speaking on the album, guitarist Matt Fowler shares, “This record captures the feeling of estrangement from old friends, past homes, and yourself after a period of growth. It explores the desire to fix and heal those relationships, the realization that not all of them can be fixed, and how to still move forward. ‘Built To Last’ weaves through major life changes, mental health, emotional awareness, and finally the difficulties of keeping loved ones close. Exploring this stage of life called for wildly different sounds and songwriting styles which is why you’ll hear such a wide variety of influences throughout the record’s thirteen tracks.”

Since forming at the University of Florida in 2017, Arrows in Action (singer/guitarist Victor Viramontes-Pattison, guitarist Matthew Fowler, and drummer/founding member Jesse Frimmel) have ascended from undergrads to underground buzz band on the back of a swirling blend of angular indie-rock, ‘80s electric sheen, and saccharine alt-pop – attracting more than a half-million Spotify listeners to their effortless melodies, vulnerable lyricism, and rich sonic ear candy.
