Bedouin Soundclash are back with the irresistible feel-good track, ‘Islands in the Fog,’ which sees longtime musical partners Jay Malinowski and Eon Sinclair team up with artist Gizmo Varillas, a Brighton-based, bilingual Spanish singer-songwriter and producer, known for his uplifting fusion of Latin rhythms, folk, funk, soul, and indie rock.
“Gizmo reached out to me a couple of years ago about collaborating, and I immediately loved the dusty sense of travel in his music. I wrote ‘Islands in the Fog’ on a foggy morning at home. From my studio, I could hear the low blasts of ships out on the ocean. The song came out of that feeling – something you know is there, still close, but has somehow become a memory: relationship, a place, or a time in your life that feels just out of reach,” Jay Malinowski shared of the track.
