Can’t Swim drop deluxe version of debut album ‘Fail You Again’ for its 5th anniversary

To celebrate the fifth anniversary of their debut album, Can’t Swim have announced a deluxe version of ‘Fail You Again’. The deluxe version is out now via Pure Noise Records and contains four new tracks from the band including the new single ‘Find You.’

Speaking about ‘Find You,’ singer Chris Loporto said “‘Find You’ is the last B-side we recorded for ‘Fail You Again’.  We wrote the song around the bass line, which many Can’t Swim songs are guilty of and we wanted to keep the structure short and sweet. Clocking in around 2 minutes, it’s a song that gets straight to the point. Over the last 5 years, we’ve thought about releasing it but the timing never seemed right, very excited for it to be finally out”.

Chris Loporto also spoke on the deluxe version of the album and said “Fail You Again’, our first album turns 5 years old. It was our first time ever making music together, it was our first time thinking about the band in a serious way; what we wanted to do and how we wanted to do it. It has given us so many experiences throughout the world and has taught us so much about each other. Listening back to it now, I hear so many influences and genuine emotions that we were all going through in that time period. It was such a blast to make and I never thought it would open up as many doors as it did for us as a band. I owe a lot of the positivity in my life these last 5 years to FYA. Thanks to everyone who has been along for the ride”.
