Central Cee shares Dir.Lx-directed visual for powerful cut ‘Ruby’

Last night, West London’s Central Cee dropped the thought-provoking and impactful visual for ‘Ruby,’ a powerful track taken from his inimitable ‘Wild West’ mixtape – which has spent an incredible 25 weeks in the UK Top 40, peaking at number 2 in the UK Official Charts.

The follow-up to the now BPI Certified Silver ‘Commitment Issues,’ ‘Ruby’ (which samples Foreigner‘s ‘Cold As Ice’) sees the 22-year-old Shepherds Bush-hailing rapper narrating the stories of two characters, Ruby and Jack. ‘Ruby’ showcases Cench‘s ability to relate to those around him; an observant and intelligent tale of broken hearts and broken homes told through dexterous wordplay and a genre-bending sonic.

Part of Apple’s The Agenda Live series, the official video is a collaboration with Dir.LX – the North London hailing director who has worked on videos for the likes of Dave, Royal Blood, Unknown T, and more.
