Dan Campbell, the frontman of The Wonder Years and Aaron West & the Roaring Twenties, has released new music under his own name. The song is titled ‘When I Face Into the Wind,’ and you can check it out down below.
“As some (or maybe most) of you are aware, in the early days of quarantine, I wrote and recorded songs for strangers,” Dan says. “I’d get to know them and try to write something that captured their lives and I’m gonna tell you more about that later, but as we’re approaching Valentine’s Day, I wanted to share this one with you because I got really attached to the story—two people who fell in love, first in the summer on train bridge, and then in the winter in an abandoned schoolhouse and finally at a place of their own with their daughter. It’s called ‘When I Face into the Wind.’”
This version of the song was re-recorded for a public release and features Ace Enders on keys, Daniel Radin on bass and additional guitar, Kristine Kruta on cello, Maria Im on violin, Joe Junod on trumpet, and the voice of Robin Gazzara.
