Just before the release of the new album, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes dropped another new single and video ‘Self Love,’ taken from the duo’s upcoming fifth album ‘Dark Rainbow’, which is due out on January 26th via International Death Cult / AWAL. The single follows previously released ‘Man Of The Hour’ and ‘Brambles’, which both paved the way for an album of evident reflection and introspection.
Discussing the track, Frank Carter explains: “‘Self Love’ is a mantra to live by in honour of the relationship that truly matters: the relationship you have with yourself. It can be easy to neglect yourself while spending energy fighting to win love from other people.” Frank also adds: “If you really care for yourself you realise you don’t need anyone else to be happy, and quite often when you stop looking for what you want the universe gives you exactly what you need.”
