Legendary drummer D.H. Peligro dead at 63

Legendary drummer D.H. Peligro passed away aged 63. The news came through his current band Dead Kennedys who shared the information on their socials.

On their profiles, the band shared:Dead Kennedys‘ drummer D.H. Peligro (Darren Henley) passed away in his Los Angeles home yesterday, October 28th. Police on the scene stated that he died from trauma to the head caused by an accidental fall. Arrangements are pending and will be announced in the coming days. We ask that you respect the family’s privacy during this difficult time. Thank you for your thoughts and words of comfort.”

D.H. Peligro was part of the Dead Kennedys since 1981 and played on their records ‘Plastic Surgery Disasters’ (1982) ‘Frankenchrist’ (1985), and ‘Bedtime for Democracy’ (1986), as well as legendary 1981’s EP ‘In God We Trust, Inc.’ He as also part of the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1988, and co-wrote some of the songs on the bands’ 1989’s record ‘One Hot Minute.’ He was also included in several other bands and projects during his prolific career.
