Artifact of the Month: Jennifer Finch Bass Reveal

The Punk Rock Museum is honored to receive Jennifer Finch’s 1984 Fender Hybrid bass, The Ghost —to be part of the museum’s interactive Jam Room. This is the very bass that helped define L7’s sound and tore through shows with bands like Nirvana, Helmet, and NOFX, to name a few.
It will now be in the museum’s Jam Room, where fans can get their hands on it and let loose. This isn’t just about looking at an artifact; it’s about feeling the raw power of a piece of punk’s sonic backbone and channeling a bit of Finch’s legendary energy.
Jennifer Finch will be giving in-person tours of the museum on February 28th, March 1st, and March 2nd, offering fans a one-of-a-kind chance to hear stories from someone who helped shape punk history.
March 2nd – 3rd: The Punk Rock Museum will be hosting The Punk Scholars Network where the Punk On Display conference will offer a deep dive into punk culture through the lens of scholarship and hands-on engagement. This dynamic event celebrates punk’s revolutionary impact and invites participants to explore punk artists, zine makers, scene-builders, and archivists who have shaped the movement. Jennifer Finch will be one of the speakers at this event.
