The Punk Rock Museum is the world’s most comprehensive attraction dedicated to the history of the music, culture, and absurdity of punk rock. Located in Las Vegas, it houses artifacts and memorabilia from across the world’s punk scene—such as handwritten lyrics, instruments, clothing, photos, flyers, and artwork.
Encompassing 12,000 square feet at 1422 Western Ave, between the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown, the museum celebrates the genre’s substantial cultural impact over the last half-century. October 2nd: Motörhead exhibit opening!
The Punk Rock Museum is excited to present a new exhibition dedicated to Motörhead and Lemmy Kilmister on Friday, October 2nd, 2026. The museum will be celebrating one of rock music’s most influential, uncompromising, and unforgettable forces.
Led by Lemmy Kilmister, Motörhead helped define the sound and attitude of heavy metal while maintaining deep roots in punk rock. Lemmy’s connection to the British punk scene ran deep, including his time playing bass with The Damned. Motörhead’s speed, volume, and no-nonsense approach would go on to influence generations of punk bands, including Pennywise, Rancid, Lagwagon, and countless others.
At the heart of Motörhead’s infamous sound was Lemmy’s Rickenbacker bass, played through towering Marshall stacks. The resulting volume and intensity became legendary, with generations of fans describing Motörhead as one of the loudest bands they ever experienced, a sound that wasn’t simply heard, but felt.

One of the exhibition’s most unique experiences will give visitors the opportunity to play Lemmy’s actual bass through the stack he used.
Rather than simply viewing the iconic equipment behind glass, guests can pick up the bass, plug in, and experience the gear that helped create Motörhead’s unmistakable sound. It’s a rare opportunity to connect with the band’s history in a direct and very loud way.
A custom-made motorcycle manufactured by Victory Motorcycles and presented to Lemmy in December 2011 will be on display. The motorcycle was customized by CBP Custom Bikes & Parts and features airbrush artwork by Terje Aspmo.

Motörhead albums will be available at Vinyl Threat, The Punk Rock Museum’s record store, while exclusive Motörhead merchandise will be available in the museum’s gift shop.

8 p.m. — Motorbäbe performs at Three Star Punk Bar.
9 p.m.–midnight — Brian Slagel of Metal Blade Records DJs at Three Star Punk Bar.
Motorbäbe is America’s all-female salute to the almighty Motörhead. Formed in 2017, the three-piece has built a following with high-energy renditions of Motörhead classics including ‘Iron Fist’, ‘Born to Raise Hell’, and ‘In the Name of Tragedy’.
Singer and bassist Rachel Enyeart captures Lemmy’s unmistakable presence with her Rickenbacker bass tone and powerful, raspy vocals. Guitarist Shaynie Rhoads delivers the riffs of Motörhead’s classic era with precision and passion, while drummer Lindsay Martin brings the machine-like power and charisma needed to keep the trio at full throttle.
Embraced by Motörhead fans around the world, Motorbäbe brings the volume, attitude, and spirit of Motörhead to the stage.
October Screenings of ’40 Years of Fuckin’ Up’ at The Punk Rock Museum!
’40 Years of Fuckin’ Up’ is Spinal Tap, but real. It’s a film about the infamous, fairly un-famous, and beloved punk rock band NOFX. This is the unbelievable story about how a group of untalented drug-addled teenage punks somehow became the most successful independent band in history — and they did it haphazardly, entirely on their own.
Join us every Friday in October for screenings of ’40 Years of Fuckin’ Up’ at the museum. Doors open at 7:00 pm, and the screening begins at 7:30 pm.

Artifact of the month: Bryan Gregory’s (The Cramps) leather vest!
Bryan Gregory’s (The Cramps) personal stage-worn leather vest, dating to the 1970s. Courtesy of Kill Your Idols. Originally a jacket with the sleeves removed, the vest became part of Gregory’s iconic look as founding guitarist of The Cramps. Bryan Gregory (February 20, 1951 – January 10, 2001) met Lux Interior while working at a record store in New York City and joined The Cramps in 1976, helping shape the band’s distinctive early sound and image.
